03 / About Georgia

An eye for atmosphere.
A feel for people.

My interest in interiors begins with how a space feels — and grows through the details that give it character.

I’m Georgia, an interior design graduate from Whitehouse Institute of Design, where I completed a Bachelor of Design with Distinction in 2025. My work explores residential, workplace and retail interiors, with an interest in sustainable design and spaces that support everyday life.

A background in hospitality brings a practical awareness of how people arrive, gather and move through a space. I carry that attention to people into the way I think about interiors: how a room welcomes you, what draws you in and where you feel comfortable staying.

01 / Atmosphere

Colour & light.

I’m drawn to colour as a way of shaping mood. A deep tone can create intimacy; a warmer accent can bring energy to a quiet palette. I enjoy exploring how daylight changes these relationships, giving familiar materials a different presence throughout the day.

02 / Material character

Texture & material.

Timber grain, veined stone, soft plaster and reflective metal each bring their own character. I’m interested in how they sit together: rough beside smooth, warmth against coolness, and surfaces that reveal more as you move closer. These details give a concept depth.

03 / Spatial expression

Shape & form.

I enjoy the balance between sculptural gestures and clear, purposeful planning. Curves, strong lines and repeated forms can guide movement, frame a view or create somewhere to pause. For me, an expressive interior should also feel intuitive to inhabit.
